Subject: Procedural request by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) regarding the application by the Alliance des producteurs francophones du Canada (APFC) - 2026-0044-4
I am writing to you with respect to the procedural request filed by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), dated 20 February 2026, regarding the above-mentioned Part 1. The Commission will consider this request, and a decision will be issued and added to the public record in due course.
In the meantime, the deadlines currently established for this proceeding remain unchanged:
- 17 March 2026: Deadline for filing an intervention;
- 7 April 2026: Deadline for filing an intervention by groups representing the interests of one or more official language minority communities (OLMCs). Please see Staff letter dated 13 February 2026 in which a 20-day extension was granted for OLMC groups for more details; and
- 17 April 2026: Deadline for filing the applicant’s (APFC) reply.
However, the deadlines for filing interventions may be adjusted at a later date, if necessary.
