Good morning and welcome to this hearing of the Commission. My name is Bram Abramson, I am the Commissioner for the Ontario Region, and I will chair this hearing. With me on the panel are my colleagues, Nirmala Naidoo, Commissioner for the Northwest Territories as well as Stéphanie Paquette, Commissioner for the Quebec Region. Alexanne Patry is our Hearing Secretary and Stéfanie Bédard is our Legal Counsel. I invite the Hearing Secretary to present the items on the agenda for today.

Le 24 janvier 2025, le Conseil a publié l’avis de consultation de radiodiffusion CRTC 2025-18 afin d’étudier les demandes suivantes :
L’article 1 est une demande présentée par 1001012762 Ontario Inc., au nom d’Ottawa Media Inc. (OMI), en vue d’obtenir l’autorisation d’acquérir d’OMI l’actif nécessaire pour exploiter la station de radio FM commerciale de langue anglaise CKHK-FM Hawkesbury.
L’article 2 est une demande présentée par 1001012762 Ontario Inc., au nom de Dufferin Communications Inc. (Dufferin), en vue d’obtenir l’autorisation d’acquérir de Dufferin l’actif nécessaire pour exploiter la station de radio FM commerciale de langue anglaise CHRC-FM Clarence-Rockland.
Item 3 is an application by Torres Media Ottawa Inc., on behalf of Ottawa Media Inc. (OMI), for authority to acquire from OMI the assets to operate the English-language commercial FM radio station CJWL-FM Ottawa.
Item 4 is an application by My Broadcasting Corporation, on behalf of Rogers Media Inc. (RMI), for authority to acquire from RMI the assets to operate the English-language commercial radio stations CKOT-FM Tillsonburg, CJDL-FM Tillsonburg and CJET-FM Smiths Falls.
Item 5 is an application by Truth Broadcasting Network Inc., on behalf of 101056012 Saskatchewan Ltd. (101056012), for authority to acquire from 101056012 the assets to operate the English-language specialty (religious music) FM radio station CJJC-FM Yorkton.
L’article 6 est une demande présentée par Akash Broadcasting Inc., au nom de Bell Média inc. et de Bell Media Regional Radio Partnership (ci-après collectivement appelés Bell Media), en vue d’obtenir l’autorisation d’acquérir de Bell Media l’actif nécessaire pour exploiter les stations de radio AM commerciale de langue anglaise CKMX Calgary et CFRW Winnipeg. Les stations ont cessé leurs activités le 14 juin 2023.
L’article 7 est une demande présentée par Chetwynd Communications Society en vue d’obtenir une licence de radiodiffusion afin d’exploiter l’entreprise de programmation de télévision communautaire de faible puissance de langue anglaise CHET-DT.
Les demandes mentionnées dans cet avis sont examinées aujourd’hui sans la comparution des parties.
