When will the CRTC announce its selected projects for the Broadband Fund’s third call for applications?

From December 2023 to November 2025, we selected projects for funding from the third call for applications to the Broadband Fund. No more projects will be selected from the third call for applications.

To date, the CRTC has selected nearly 70 projects to receive funding from the Broadband Fund. The selected projects have been awarded approximately $771 million to improve high speed Internet and cellphone services for over 320 communities. This represents over 54,000 households and over 650 kilometres of major transportation roads, and nearly 6,000 kilometres of fibre to communities.
