Subject: Request for Information - Iristel’s application regarding authorization of funding from the National Contribution Fund in order to meet its Wireless Public Alerting requirements – Request to Extend Deadlines
Dear recipients:
On 2 February 2026, the Commission received a request from Iristel to extend the deadlines associated with responses to Commission staff’s request for information (RFI). Iristel states that the extension would allow for them to consult with equipment vendors and ensure the information filed on the record is accurate and up to date.
Iristel requested a two-week extension to the RFI and that the amended deadlines apply to all entities to whom RFIs were addressed.
Commission staff considers that the request is acceptable and should apply equally to all recipients of the RFI. Accordingly, the deadlines for the above-noted RFI have been modified as follows for all recipients:
The deadline to submit a response to the RFI: 23 February 2026
The deadline to submit a reply to RFI responses: 9 March 2026
The deadline for the applicant to submit final comments: 23 March 2026
