Subject: Staff Letter - Broadcasting - Part 1 Application (2025-0175-9) by Bell Media Inc. (Bell) v TELUS Communications Inc. (TELUS) – Withdrawal of Part 1 Application

Jonathan Daniels,
Lecia Simpson,

I am writing with respect to the 24 February 2026 letter Bell filed with the Canadian Radio- television and Telecommunications Commission (the Commission), in which it asked the Commission for the withdrawal of its Part 1 application against TELUS, namely application number 2025-0175-9. This letter confirms Commission staff’s understanding that the parties have reached an agreement relating to USA Network, Oxygen True Crime, CTV Nature, CTV Speed, and CTV Wild and the dispute regarding the Part 1 application is now resolved.

In light of the above, Bell’s correspondence and a copy of this letter will be added to the record of the file, and the file closed.

Sincerely,

Scott Shortliffe
Vice-President, Broadcasting
