This letter is in further reference to the correspondence dated 15 July 2025, whereby Bell requested that the Commission require TELUS to provide the information that was redacted from TELUS’s answer dated 11 July 2025.
Bell specifically raised concerns regarding paragraphs 12, 24, 48 and 50, alleging that the disclosure of the redacted information is necessary for them to provide a fulsome response to TELUS’s answer.
Commission staff is of the view that the information in these paragraphs is appropriately claimed in respect of the public and has proceeded with the publication of the abridged version of TELUS’s answer. However, staff considers that the information in these paragraphs is necessary for Bell to be able to respond to TELUS. Further, given that the information relates to Bell’s services, staff believes that there is no harm in disclosing it to Bell. As such, staff requests that TELUS disclose the information in paragraphs 12, 24, 48 and 50 that it redacted from the version provided to Bell. This information will be kept confidential between the parties and will not be placed on the public record.
TELUS is requested to provide the information by 17 February 2026, and Bell will be entitled to file a final response by 24 February 2026. The documents can be sent to differends-disputes@crtc.gc.ca.
