Subject: Rogers’ Report re. Xona Assessment of Rogers’ Measures to Improve Reliability

Dear Howard Slawner,

In a letter dated 4 July 2025, Rogers confirmed that the measures recommended by Xona continue to effectively address network reliability issues and provided an update regarding the separation of its wireline and wireless core networks. We recognize the progress Rogers has made in its ongoing initiatives to enhance network reliability, including steps taken to strengthen the resiliency of its core network.

Rogers has indicated that these enhancement efforts will continue in 2026.  Accordingly, Rogers is requested to provide a follow-up progress report on the implementation of measures designed to increase the resiliency of its core network by 10 July 2026.

Given the public interest and potential benefits for other service providers, Commission staff expects Rogers to disclose information on the public record to the greatest extent possible.

Sincerely,
