Subject: Change to Emergency Services Working Group report deadline – Telecom Decision 2025-64

Dear Ryan Anstey,

We are following up on the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (the Commission) Interconnection Steering Committee Emergency Services Working Group’s (ESWG) letter dated 30 July 2025. In that letter, the ESWG requested an extension to submit a Task Identification Form 92 follow-up report to the Commission.

The ESWG submitted that an extension is needed to address a challenge related to the sharing of Global Information System data. The ESWG committed to submitting the follow-up report by 9 October 2025.

The Commission has reviewed the ESWG’s request and finds it reasonable. Accordingly, the Commission approves the extension and requests that the ESWG file the follow-up report by 9 October 2025.

All documents must be received by 9 October 2025 and can be filed on the Commission’s website using GCKey.

You may direct any questions pertaining to this letter to Étienne Robelin, Manager, Emergency Services Policy, Telecommunications, at etienne.robelin@crtc.gc.ca or 873-354-4325.

Sincerely,

Marc Morin
Secretary General
