Subject: Request for Information regarding an application by the British Columbia Ministry of Citizen’s Services – Extension request from ISED
On 3 February 2025, a request for information (RFI) was sent to Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) seeking certain information on ISED’s approach to the storage and protection of confidential data. The deadline to respond to the RFI was 28 February 2025.
On 28 February 2025, ISED submitted a request to extend the deadline to submit its response to the RFI to 28 March 2025. ISED indicated that the extension would allow it sufficient time to ensure a comprehensive and accurate submission.
Commission staff considers that an extension is appropriate because it will contribute to the development of a robust record. Therefore, the deadline for ISED to provide its response to the RFI has now been extended to 28 March 2025. All parties will then have until 11 April 2025 to comment on ISED’s response.
