Community TV Channel for Montreal

Re: Request that the Commission delay a decision on Vidéotron’s proposed licence amendment for 60 days

In its intervention dated 7 October 2013, the Steering Committee for an Independent

Community TV Channel for Montreal (the Steering Committee) requested that the Commission delay a decision on Videotron's licence amendment application for 60 days in order for it to develop a formal application for community programming undertaking licence.

The Commission acknowledges receipt of the Steering Committee’s application dated 11 December 2013.

As per the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Rules of Practice and Procedure, the public process for the above-noted file concluded with the submission of Videotron’s reply to comments on 17 October 2013. The Commission will consider the Vidéotron application in due course.

Sincerely,
