Dear Mr. Yeulett:
The Commission received an application from Northwestel Inc., dated 18 February 2011, in which the company proposed tariff revisions to its General Tariff Item 208, Rate for Certified Hearing and Speech Impaired Users; Item 209, Relay Service; and Item 1311, Wireless Service Provider – Network Access, to introduce Internet Protocol Relay Service. Northwestel indicated that it planned to launch the new service on 21 March 2011.
Commission staff notes that it is continuing its analysis of the application. Consequently, the application will not be approved on an interim basis on the 15th calendar day after it was received. The Commission intends to dispose of this application within 45 business days of receipt of the filing.
