Mr. Hersche:

RE: Tariff Notice 241 - Charge-A-Call Plus Service

On 27 August 2010, the Commission received an application by Saskatchewan Telecommunications (SaskTel), under cover of Tariff Notice 241, in which the company proposed, among other things, to withdraw its General Tariff, Item 110.20 - Charge-A-Call Plus Service effective 1 November 2010.

The Commission notes that, in a letter that SaskTel issued to the customers affected by the withdrawal of Charge-A-Plus Service, SaskTel indicated that comments related to this tariff notice could be submitted until 26 October 2010. In view of the fact that the record of this application only recently closed, the Commission will be unable to render its decision within 45 business days of its reception. The Commission expects to render its decision prior to the end of November 2010.

Yours sincerely,
